Did you know that ginger’s scientific name is “Zingiber Officinale”? Or that it’s native to southeast Asia? It can be used fresh, dried and powdered, as a juice, or as oil. And although it’s known as a spice, it’s actually an herb! Our personal favorite ginger fact is that Queen Elizabeth I of England is responsible for the invention of the first gingerbread man!
