Kid Ambassador Program

About

The Kid Ambassador Program is an 8-month nutrition leadership program for students 2nd through 8th grade, and homeschooling organizations. Kid Ambassadors practice culinary skills and host leadership projects at their schools or in their communities. Leadership projects are youth-led and focus on utilizing learned skills to build healthier communities.

Impact

Since the start of the program in 2018, Kid Ambassadors have taught over 15,000 of their peers about nutrition, healthy recipes, and the mental, physical, and emotional benefits of healthy eating. The program operates nationally and is supported through volunteers, school facilitators, mentors, and parents.

Get Involved

Students in the program will participate in monthly, 2-3 hour long peer-led activities. These activities will be facilitated by one school staff or PTA member. The program will educate Kid Ambassadors, giving them the tools to incorporate nutrition education and hands-on healthy culinary events, tastings, and demonstrations to compliment or supplement existing school programs.

Impact

Get Involved
Put your cooking efforts to good use and help your kids or students record a healthy cooking demonstration. Experience and perfection is not necessary (or desired).  To be a qualified #BossKidsCook video, all youth must cook alone or with their friends (adults are not allowed). They also must share two nutrition tips or facts and demonstrate how to prepare their recipe.

All kids who sign up get our #BossKidsCook 7-Day Guide to Becoming a Boss in the Kitchen and receive a #BossKidsCook badge.
