Question:  When will I receive my ingredient list?

A: 5-7 days prior to your cooking class

Question: How old does my child(ren) need to be to attend your classes?

A: Although our classes are designed for kids, ages 6-15, anyone will enjoy participating. Please be mindful that younger kids will need support from an adult or older sibling. Nutrition chats are designed to teach children ages 7-13 (impact will depend upon their existing nutrition knowledge)

Question:  Why are you offering free classes? What’s the catch?

A: Every Kid Can Cook is a non-profit whose goal is to help kids learn about and use nutrition to become successful and healthy leaders. This program was developed out of a response for needing nutrition-themed education and activities to do at home during the COVID-19 pandemic and to better support kids enrolled in our school-based Kid Ambassador Program who has asked us to develop more kid-hosted cooking classes. Thanks to McCormick Spice and our other partners, the monthly series is free to any child who wants to participate.

Question:  What is BossKidsCook?

A:  Boss Kids Cook is Every Kid Can Cook’s online nutrition leadership program. The goals  of this program are to (1) help kids cook independently (2) learn about and cook more with fruits and vegetables and (3) create cooking videos of them sharing nutrition tips and preparing healthy recipes independently.
