As leader in culinary nutrition education, Kim has taught over 20,000 youth and families how to cook healthy. She has a BA in Marketing and Math, MA in Internet Marketing, is a Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert (CNE), published Author, Speaker and an Executive Consultant that has helped companies like McCormick Spice, United Way of Central Maryland, Washington Redskins, Johns Hopkins and WIC (Women Infant Child) develop and implement sustainable community culinary nutrition programs, recipes and curriculum.
In December 2017, Kim founded Every Kid Can Cook to empower kids of all cultural backgrounds and eating preferences with the skills and opportunity to learn how to cook healthy and become culinary nutrition leaders in their community, school and home.
