Paige’s Cauliflower and Broccoli Pizza Crust with Mozzarella and Marinara Sauce
One of my favorite foods is Pizza. Pizza dough has so many calories that I wanted to experiment with vegetables to make an alternative Pizza crust with less calories that was healthy and delicious. I used two of my favorite vegetables – cauliflower and broccoli, added both vegetables to the food processor with some spices and cheese. I shaped, baked and added mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce and fresh herbs to my pizza crust and WALA a delicious and healthy substitute for pizza dough.

  1. Paige’s Cauliflower and Broccoli Pizza Crust with Mozzarella cheese and Marinara sauce (A healthy and delicious cauliflower and broccoli pizza crust. Add your favorite toppings, bake and enjoy your pizza) Ingredients 2 Cups of cooked, riced Cauliflower 1 Cup of cooked, riced Broccoli 1 Egg 3 sprinkles of Oregano 3 sprinkles of Garlic powder 3 sprinkles of Basil 1 sprinkle of Salt 1 sprinkle of Pepper 2 TBS fresh Italian Parsley ¼ Cup of Parmesan cheese ¼ + ½ Cup of Low Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella cheese ¼ Marinara Sauce Toppings Mozzarella cheese Marinara sauce Utensils Cutting Knife Food Processor Dishcloth or Paper towel Parchment Paper Cookie Sheet Directions 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. Put Cauliflower and Broccoli in a food processor and blend together for 1 minute. (rice texture) 3. Place the mixture in a microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes 4. Remove the bowl from the microwave and put mixture in a clean dishtowel or paper towel, twist and squeeze all the moisture out  5. Return mixture to bowl and add all the other ingredients and mix together (add only ¼ Mozzarella cheese to the mixture and save the other ½ for the topping)  6. Add the mixture to parchment paper on a nonstick cookie tray, shape and form in a round crust  7. Place crust in the oven and bake on 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown  8. Remove the crust from the oven, ADD marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese  9. Place back in the oven for 5-7 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown. 10. Remove, add fresh Italian and let cool for 5 minutes 11. Slice it up and Enjoy the Masterpiece
