What excites you most about being a Kid Ambassador?
I’m excited to empower people to cook healthier.

I consider myself to be creative, hardworking, and independent.

What is your favorite subject in school?
I love Geography.

Who is your favorite chef?
Ree Drummond, aka Pioneer Woman, is the kind of chef I’d like to be like.

Why do you feel kids should learn how to cook healthy?
To quote an old dead guy named Hippocrates “let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” I think he’s onto something.

How old were you when you started cooking?
I have been “helping” with cooking since I can remember by licking the spatula but I started cooking on my own at around 8 years old.

Who taught you how to cook?
My mom has taught me to cook and shown techniques.

What advice would you give other kids to cook healthy?
Your body is a machine it needs the proper fuel to live well.

What is your biggest cooking mistake or blooper?
I found this recipe on Pinterest, and it was horrible. Sometimes believing the Pinterest titles isn’t a good idea.

What is your favorite meal to cook (and eat)?
I like brussels sprouts, onions, and kielbasa sausage sautéed to perfection.

What are your favorite fruits and veggies?
I like bananas, clementines, apples, celery, carrots, brussels sprouts, asparagus, beets, and cabbage.
